F8000-36 Fire Rated Rim Exit Device 36"

Designed for use in offices, schools, hospitals, apartments, hotels, motels, and other public buildings. Suitable for doors 1-3/4" to 2" thick (2-1/4" optional) and 33"–36" wide, with a minimum stile width of 4-1/2". Mounting hardware includes standard wood and machine screws; sex nuts and bolts (1346) available upon request. Latchbolt is zinc with a 3/4" throw and a stainless steel latchbolt spring. Guard bolt and center case cover are zinc alloy. Mounting rail and cover plate options include painted aluminum, painted black, painted bronze, or satin stainless steel (US32D). Strikes include the 8000 Series (non-rated) and F8000 Series (fire rated) with steel roller strike options for 2-3/4" or 2-3/8" backsets. UL listed to UL 305 for panic hardware and rated ANSI 156.3 Grade 1. Covers stock hollow metal doors with 161 cutout. Non-handed design.
